Alizee Biography: This young talent singer was discovered at the Star Searched TV show and since that time became a well-known personality. Born on August 21, 1984 in France, Alizee Jacotey was spotted by Mylene Farmer and was offered to sign a contract with a studio. Actually, Alizee is an excellent dancer and initially she was going to participate in a contest as a dancer, but lucky she was that she failed, because dance category was reserved for groups only. Alizee won the contest and signed a contract. In 2000 her debut album Gourmandises (Sweets) was released. It had huge success in France and also UK, Germany and Mexico. Alizee got the M6 Award for this album, which became platinum just in three months. In three years her sophomore album appeared. It was popular too, though it could hardly be compared to the popularity of the previous one. Overall, Alizee released three albums written by Farmer and Boutonnat. Though a singer was portrayed in a sexy image through her albums, she is quite a shy teenager. She is fond of dancing (ballet, classical dance, flamenco, jazz and tap) and playing football. She is a member of charity organization Les Enfoires and performs fund-rising concerts.
