Amanda Peet Biography: One of the most beautiful women in the World 2000 (by People magazine) Amanda Peet was meant for the stage. Born on January 12, 1972, Peet was fond of acting as a result she started to attend acting classes at age of 8. Uta Hagen, a Broadway actress, thought her acting skills. Nevertheless, Peet entered Columbia University at the department of history. She appeared on TV first in commercial for fruity candies Skittles but her big-screen debut was in the film Animal Room (1995). After that she mainly acted as a supporting actress in "Jack and Jill", "The Summer of George". Later she starred opposite George Clooney in the movies Syriana. She played in X-files as an FBI agent, and in Griffin and Phoenix for a death-sick woman. |
