Amy Lindsay Biography: An American actress Amy Lindsay (sometimes credited as Katie Campbell, Leah Riley, Lexie Tyler and Julie Snow) was born in Columbus Ohio. Her mother gave Amy birth on the Campus of the Ohio State University where Amy's father studied at that moment. After graduation a young family with a baby daughter moved to Houston, Texas where Lindsay spent her childhood. After finishing high school Lindsay aimed to pursue the career of journalist and entered The University of Texas situated in Austin. After she got the degree in Journalism and Drama (minor) she found a job in a field of marketing and public relations. This was a turning point in Lindsay life when she realized she did not like her work. To change this vicious circle Amy moved to Los Angeles to try her chances in acting. A new life began then, a life of a celebrity. Amy Lindsay succeeded to work as an actress, producer, production manager and a casting director (for the movie Thunderbird in 2001). Lindsay also did several voice-over works. She was mostly seen in television productions and once got her chance to star in a film "8 Seconds", but the scene she acted in was cut before final release. In 2005 she married her co-star Hoyt Richards for the series Black Tie Nights.
