Amy Smart was born in the family of salesman and a museum worker on March 25, 1976 in California. She had been attending ballet classes for 10 years but then at age 13 she succeeded in modeling and finally gave preferences to acting. She first acted in the film Varsity Blues (1999) and since then she was struggling her actress's way for bigger roles. Road Trip, Butterfly Effect, Starsky and Hutch, Bigger than the Sky, Just Friends - all these films made Amy Smart rich and famous.
