When Faris was just a girl she liked playing acts with her friends. Her parents noticed it and signed her to acting classes without hesitation. At age of 9 Anna got her first role at the Repertory Theatre. Nevertheless Faris decided to get non-acting education and entered the University of Washington to the English Literature department. After graduation she moved to London and acted in Lover's Lane. Later Faris moved to LA and at once was asked to act in Scary Movie.
