Atomic Kitten Biography: Really atomic female music band Atomic Kitten was founded in 1999 in Liverpool, England. Currently the trio consists of Liz McClarnon, Natasha Hamilton and Jenny Frost. "Right Now" is the girls' debut single, which reached the UK Top 10, and also the name of the debut album. Though the single was a successful one, the album appeared to be not and ranked only #39 position in UK music charts. Nevertheless, Innocent Records gave the second chance to Atomic Kitten and the girls justified hopes when released the single "Whole Again". The last rushed to #1 place of music charts in 2001 and skyrocketed Atomic Kitten's popularity. The single was re-released in renewed album and this time the new album got on the first place of music charts. The second album Feels So Good was released in 2002. The following year Atomic Kitten had a tour to Asia visiting Korea, Thailand and Singapore. In order to gain American listeners the girls went to the States. Unfortunately, they did not have such great success there as they had in Asia and England, so they focused on the last two markets preferably. Overall Atomic Kitten released six albums, sold over 12 millions of copies world wide and had a number of successful tours all over the world. |
