Barbara Carrera Biography: Exotic and beautiful Nicaraguan-born American actress and a former model Barbara Kingsbury was born on December 31, 1945 and she took her mother's maiden name Carrera as her stage name. A family moved to the USA when Barbara was ten and at the age of fifteen she started her modeling career. A girl acted in a series of commercial for Chiquita Bananas. One could found her pictures in glamour magazines like Paris Match, Harper's Bazaar and Vogue. At 17 she burst into acting and landed a role in her debut film Puzzle of a Downfall Child, which got a low critical acclaim though. Nevertheless, without any regrets she continued her acting career and gained multitude admirers by performing her undressed body, like she did it in a movie Point of Impact (1993) and Tryst (1994), in both she was having nude sex. For her role in a film "The Master Gunfighter" Carrera won a Golden Globe award in 1976 and got a Golden Globe nomination for her part in a movie Never Say Never Again, where she played Bond's girlfriend. The role in a series Dallas won her high popularity among American viewers.
