Do you think it is easy to be famous? To reach this status Delta Goodrem had to work hard through her childhood: she took her lessons of playing piano, singing, acting and dancing simultaneously at the age of seven. Add to this swimming, running and netball playing and you'll see how hard she struggled for success. Delta Goodrem, an Australian singer, pianist and actress was born on November 9, 1984 in Sydney and was named after the Joe Cocker's single "Delta Lady". "A destiny", you would say; "a talent" we may add. Goodrem's parents claim she had a strong craving for music. Since seven Goodrem was often seen on television advertising toys and other goods, and she landed some minor roles in Australian series. Having earned enough money Delta turned her dream into reality - she recorded a demo CD (she was thirteen then)!. At 15 she signed her first deal with Sony and released a single "I Don't Care", which appeared to be low-rated in music charts. But it was "Neighbours" soap opera which showed off Goodrem as a talented singer. A girl performed a song "Born to Try" and it rushed to the top of UK Top 3. She released two massive albums "Innocent Eyes" in 2003 and "Mistaken Identity" in 2004 which made a worldwide known singer out of Goodrem and brought her multitude of awards.
