Heidi Klum Biography: Heidi Klum became famous thanks to her friend, who insisted on Heidi's participation in modeling contest. Guess what? Heidi won it! Heidi Klum was born on June 1, 1973 in Germany. At the time she won the pageant, she was studying at high school. After the contest Heidi was offered to become a professional model but she gave a preference to study. After graduation, a girl made a tour in pursue for her future modeling career: she went to Hamburg, Milan, Paris, and Miami and at last settled in Manhattan. Her first debut was in 1997 on a fashion show for Victoria's Secret. Thanks to it she became a known person and was the first German woman appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated magazine. She was also seen in German GQ Magazine, Max, Arena and many more; by the way she posed naked. In 1999 she was a guest in Spin City show and stayed with it to the end of all the episodes. Heidi was also a guest in Sex and the City, a known series, but her first leading role she had in Blow Dry (2001). In 2004 Heidi created her own show Project Runway, a reality show for novel fashion designers.
