Natalie Portman became very famous after her debut role in the film Leon, which is considered to be a classic of world cinematography. Natalie Hershlag, Portman's real name, was born on June 9, 1981, in Jerusalem, Israel. When she was a child she was apt at acting and had drama lessons at summer camps. In 1993 Portman became young celebrity after her film debut in Leon.
