Sarah Michelle Gellar Biography: Sarah Michelle Gellar, known and often nicknamed as Buffy, has been acting for most part of her life. Born on April 14th, 1977 in New York, she was spotted by an agent at the age of four. Her first role was in a film An Invasion of Privacy. Since that time Sarah had an intention to study acting professionally, so she attended Professional Children's School studying together with one more future star Macaulay Culkin. After her debut film role Gellar was often seen in TV commercials and in minor roles in some movies. In 1992 she starred in Swans Crossing, the very film that brought attention of the public and launch Gellar's acting career. This film was followed by a chain of other roles in All My Children, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Scream and Scooby Doo flicks. It seems, never matter what films she acts in, Sarah Michelle Gellar will always be associated with her character Buffy from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The series was so successful that ran for impressive seven seasons. When the show came to an end in 2003, Gellar appeared in a horror The Grudge and its sequel The Grudge 2. Except acting, Gellar is also a successful model and appeared on the covers of different magazines with Cosmopolitan included. Sarah is also a model of Maybelline, a cosmetic company. During the shooting of "I Know What You Did Last Summer" Gellar met her love - Freddie Prinze Jr and married him in 2002 in Mexico. A couple acted together in several films after their marriage, though presently they are both devoted to Charlotte Grace, their baby daughter born on September 19, 2009.
