Selma Blair Biography: A black-haired beauty initially wanted to be involved in photography, but she even could not believe her destiny was to become a famous actress. Selma Blair Beitner was born on June 23, 1972 in Southfield, Michigan. Having got a degree in English and Fine Art, Blair moved to New York to achieve her dream. It happened that she decided to continue her study and entered Adler Conservatory and the Column Theater. In a while an agent noticed her and offered Selma a career of an actress. She also starred in The Sweetest Thing (2002), A Guy Thing (2003) and Hellboy (2004). Blair is a hardworking actress and has not missed a single year without acting. Nevertheless, she managed to combine her work and personal life. She had been dating an actor Jason Schwartzman but in 2004 Selma married Emuukha Rodan Zappa, a musician. In June 2006 an actress filed for divorce claiming to have irreconcilables with her husband. |
