Taylor Momsen Biography: Taylor Momsen emerged unexpectedly and shocked everybody by her multitalents. At the age of sixteen she is a popular American actress, model and singer. Born on July 26, 1993 in St. Louis, Momsen appeared on a big screen at the age of three advertising Shake'N'Bake. When she reached 6 little Taylor landed a role in a series The Prophet's Game. The following year she got a chance to portray Cindy Lou Who in a film How the Grinch Stole Christmas. After she played Gretel in a motion picture Hansel & Gretel, Momsen at last got a leading role in a sitcom Misconceptions, which was never aired though. As Jenny Humphrey Momsen appeared in a popular series Gossip Girl. Being a model of IMG Models and having unrestrained desire for singing Momsen formed her own music band The Pretty Reckless. It did not take long time to sign with Interscope Records and currently a newly formed group is working over their first album. As Momsen said in her interview for OK!Magazine all the songs are written and sang by Momsen herself, moreover she plays the guitar on the album. As Momsen said the music would be a bit different from what people expect from her, a kind of post-grunge and alternative rock. Let's wait and see then, probably a new star will be born.
