Born on December 8, 1964 in California, Hatcher intended to become a ballerina, so she had studied ballet since childhood and entered the American Conservatory Theater to study acting, that later took over her. An actress became famous after she landed a role in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman in 1993, though before it she was often seen on screens in numerous TV series like MacGyver, Star Trek: The Next Generation, L.A.
