Teri Hatcher Biography: This glamorous, sexy and investigative actress will be best remembered for her role of Susan Mayer in a series Desperate Housewives. Born on December 8, 1964 in California, Hatcher intended to become a ballerina, so she had studied ballet since childhood and entered the American Conservatory Theater to study acting, that later took over her. An actress became famous after she landed a role in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman in 1993, though before it she was often seen on screens in numerous TV series like MacGyver, Star Trek: The Next Generation, L.A. Law, Quantum Leap and some others, but the role that turned Hatcher to celebrity was of Lois Lane. A series got critical acclaim and lasted for four years. Hatcher also starred in Tomorrow Never Dies, playing a Bond girl and in a movie The Cool Surface, where she acted in several nude scenes playing with a guy before and after having sex in a doggie style. But the role that brought popularity, fame and of course money to Hatcher was of Susan Mayer in Desperate Housewives. Hatcher won an Emmy award, a Screen Actors Guild and a Golden Globe for it. She played a divorc?e who raised an only daughter and the thing is that it reflects her real life situation. Hatcher had two unsuccessful marriages and now brings up a daughter Emerson Rose, from her second husband Jon Tenney, an actor.
