Tyra Banks Biography: Tyra Banks is a famous model, actress, television personality and a businesswoman. Born on December 4, 1973, in California Tyra started her acting career at the age of eleven. She moved to Paris to do some runway job there and was at once noticed by designers. In one evening Banks had got 25 offerings to do runway - it was a record for a newcomer in a fashion world. She was then modeling for such fashion giants as Chanel, Dolce and Gabanna, Christian Dior, McDonald's and a long list of others. Banks was a cover girl for Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Cosmopolitan and Vogue. Although being on the peak of her modeling career Tyra decided to shift to acting a bit. So, she was first seen in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, in its forth season. She was a guest at the Prince is Right and Space Ghost Coast to Coast shows. Being a presenter of many TV shows, Banks decided to host her own one - The Tyra Banks show, which resembles The Oprah Winfrey Show a bit. In 2008 Banks was praised by Daytime Emmy Award for her show. A celebrity also appeared in some videos, for example in Mickle Jackson's "Black or White". Later she even had her debut single Shake Ya Body released, but it appeared to be a flop.
